“I am currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Education Sciences.

Before receiving this scholarship, we were approaching the first semester exams, particularly the regular session. I had not yet paid my fees because my guardian had not sent me any money to do so. However, at the University of Yaoundé 1, specifically in our faculty, access to the exam hall is granted only to students who have paid at least half their tuition fees. I didn’t know what to do. So, I prayed and waited. A few days later, I received a phone call.

It was from Uncle Willy, and it was about a scholarship. I was very surprised because I was not expecting it, especially since I had never received a scholarship, at least not like this. Then I thought I should wait and see, and later, my sister came to tell me that she had received a deposit from Uncle Willy for me and that it was a scholarship. That’s when I realized that I had indeed received a scholarship. I thanked God and then went on to pay half of my fees. On the eve of the exams, my guardian finally sent me some money, but it wasn’t enough, not even to pay the first installment. I didn’t know what I would have done if I didn’t receive this scholarship.

Thanks to this scholarship, I started working harder at school than usual because I thought everyone had done their part, and now it was up to me. Usually, I had to do side jobs to supplement what I received from my parents and manage all my needs, and it was still not easy. I thank everyone who has made themselves available to be used by GOD to bless lives. May the Lord bless you abundantly and reward you a hundredfold.”
