Scholar Testimonials
Ann Marie B. 12. July, 2024. Today, I would like to express my deep gratitude to EduExcel for its incredible support. As a young student and orphan from a modest family, paying my tuition fees has always been a great challenge for me. In November 2023, my classmate Ndjiki Maurel told me about the EduExcel program and encouraged me to apply, which I did. A few months later, I was awarded the scholarship. EduExcel has provided me with moral support because, thanks to them, I was able to focus on my studies without worrying about my tuition. Additionally, I discovered the existence of a beautiful family, Campus Crusade for Christ, which helps me every day to strengthen my faith and always remember that God never forgets His children.
My results this year are excellent, and I pray to the Lord to always bless EduExcel and continue to bring light among them.
I am doing well. My academic results for the 2023/2024 year are out, and I am moving to the next level with an overall average of 15/20.
I want to express my gratitude for your help in achieving this. May the Lord bless you abundantly. Bonté K. 8. July, 2024. “I am currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Education Sciences.
Before receiving this scholarship, we were approaching the first semester exams, particularly the regular session. I had not yet paid my fees because my guardian had not sent me any money to do so. However, at the University of Yaoundé 1, specifically in our faculty, access to the exam hall is granted only to students who have paid at least half their tuition fees. I didn’t know what to do. So, I prayed and waited. A few days later, I received a phone call.
It was from Uncle Willy, and it was about a scholarship. I was very surprised because I was not expecting it, especially since I had never received a scholarship, at least not like this. Then I thought I should wait and see, and later, my sister came to tell me that she had received a deposit from Uncle Willy for me and that it was a scholarship. That’s when I realized that I had indeed received a scholarship. I thanked God and then went on to pay half of my fees. On the eve of the exams, my guardian finally sent me some money, but it wasn’t enough, not even to pay the first installment. I didn’t know what I would have done if I didn’t receive this scholarship.
Thanks to this scholarship, I started working harder at school than usual because I thought everyone had done their part, and now it was up to me. Usually, I had to do side jobs to supplement what I received from my parents and manage all my needs, and it was still not easy. I thank everyone who has made themselves available to be used by GOD to bless lives. May the Lord bless you abundantly and reward you a hundredfold.” Harri D. 8. July, 2024. “Edu-Excel is a program I discovered after passing the entrance exam to a school of Economics and Business (ESSEC) in Douala. The team decided to support me by paying my university fees and accompanying me to academic excellence through coaching sessions.
In return, I had to give my best and maintain an average above 14/20… Note that I had never achieved this throughout my academic journey.
For a little background, after obtaining my Baccalaureate D in 2015 and failing to pass any entrance exams, I went to the University of Yaoundé I to study physics. That’s when the disillusionment began. I spent three years at level 1. I have never repeated a class before, but the financial struggles made my academic journey difficult. By reaching level 3, I was fed up with school because I didn’t feel like I belonged there. I experienced burnout… which led to me repeating the class…
With a passion for commerce and marketing, my brothers encouraged me to take the ESSEC entrance exam in 2021. It has now been three years since Edu-Excel supported me.
Thank you, Edu-Excel.” Iya M. 8. July, 2024. “I am a third-year student in Fundamental Computer Science. Before I could obtain the scholarship, I was truly overwhelmed by financial limitations in paying for my studies this year. My parents were experiencing profound financial difficulties, so I understood how difficult it would be for me to afford my education.
I was lamenting before God, reminding Him of His promises because He is the one who brought me to the university. One day, while I was checking my WhatsApp messages, I saw a message accompanied by a link from our team member, Uncle JOSEPH, asking me to complete the form step by step. After completing the form, I returned to the village to assist my father in the hospital, who was suffering from eye problems that required surgery. A few days later, Uncle Joseph called me to return to Maroua and collect my scholarship.
The impact the scholarship had, is beyond words to describe concretely. Everything my friends and I have said, that God is above all and controls all things, has come true. I want to thank Campus Life Maroua and its quality partners. May your God bless you abundantly, and I hope to one day pay forward.” Salomon A 8. July, 2024. “I am a student engineer at the National Higher Polytechnic School of MAROUA. Naturally, I am required to pay my academic tuition fees every semester, but sometimes, there are delays due to my financial instability. In November 2023, our campus director, Uncle Joseph WAHYAN, informed me about the Edu-Excel program. I submitted my application by filling out an online form and subsequently obtained a scholarship that allowed me to pay my tuition fees.
Thanks to this scholarship, I was able to pay for my studies on time and focus more on my work rather than worrying about how to afford them. I am greatly reassured by the timely payments, and I can continue my academic journey worries-free.
I thank the Lord for the grace He has bestowed upon me through the Edu-Excel program.
My academic results are excellent. I wish to work with Edu-Excel to light lamps of hope in the hearts of young Christians. To help them find their path and achieve academic success.
Thank you, Edu-Excel.”
