The inspiration goes back to 2005 in Cameroon.
Jurgen encountered the challenges faced by students from the most underprivileged backgrounds. In undeveloped countries like Cameroon, students struggle with the financial burdens associated with education. These burdens encompass tuition fees, the acquisition of essential textbooks, and supplementary materials vital for their educational journey.
For many others, the challenges extend beyond these needs. For many students whose families reside far from universities, additional expenses arise in the form of transportation or accommodation costs. Compounding with the necessities of sustenance, these supplementary expenses present a complex dilemma for numerous families, rendering access to education a formidable struggle.
Regrettably, some students are compelled to seek employment to alleviate financial strain. Yet, opportunities in underdeveloped countries often require strenuous physical labor, making students unable to focus on their studies or simply drop out of school.
In addition to the financial challenges, underprivileged students typically experience a lack of familial guidance and support, leaving them ill-prepared for the demands of the workplace upon completing their education.
