It started in 2005 in Cameroon.
Jurgen saw firsthand the struggles faced by students from poor backgrounds. In countries like Cameroon, many students have a hard time paying for their education. They need money for tuition, textbooks, and other materials essential for their studies. Some students live far from their schools and have to pay for transportation or a place to stay. When you add the cost of daily living needs, it becomes a huge challenge for many families to send their children to school.
Because of these financial problems, some students have to find jobs to help pay for their education. In underdeveloped countries, these jobs are often hard and physically demanding, making it difficult for students to focus on their studies. Sometimes, they even have to drop out of school. Beyond money issues, many underprivileged students lack support from their families, leaving them unprepared for the workforce after finishing school.
EduExcel is here to offer hope and support to these students. We aim to make education accessible and fair for everyone. To do this, we provide financial aid, connect students with mentors, and offer job training programs. Our goal is to help students overcome their challenges and reach their full potential. EduExcel wants to build a future where every student can succeed and make a positive impact in their communities and beyond.
